Gushing: Poured Into our Hearts

There is nothing like being receptive to the Love of the Lord pouring into your heart,
It is so much deeper a than a feeling, or knowing; His Presence is an experience, to be sought again and again.

This primary function of Man, once achieved,  is as a thirst quenched, an hunger satisfied, and a promise fulfilled. More intoxicating than the rest and refreshment of a warm alcoholic beverage on a cold winter's day,  for it lifts the spirit of a man to the heavenly places,  that he may consider his maker and feel lifted up on the wings of His great love.  

The Oil Elixir of His love is poured into us by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5)
I happen to feel it through my head (Psalm 23),  
He fills us up our hearts to the extent you make Him Room..

Love keeping His Commandments.
Larn to walk with the Upright
Seek to keep His Day Holy
Walk by Faith and not by Sight
Build that personal relationship with Him
Learn to know and grow yourself.
Drink of His Eternal Light.

Paul flies out like an Arrow from the hand of God; leaving a trail of the Holy Spirit's baptismal fire.  That by understanding and reasoning;  Greek Philosophers, Jews and Gentiles are convinced of the End Game from The Beginning.  

When the Father's Spirit guides you, its no small thing He accomplishes through you.
His Spirit is of Power, with Purpose and Direction and He -never- misses.

At times we get the wrong impression of what it means to be a Christian.  

Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones states repeatedly in his Lectures " Why the most challenging thing you could think to do with your life is to become a Christian. "

Only those who haven't really considered the Word of God would dare to call it an opiate.  The Scriptures stir the mind,  ignites heart and challenges man to strengthen every single faculty of Being.  I say that if a man values himself he ought to consider The Scriptures as the highest exercise of Thought.

Wisdom and Discernment

I have a very soft spot in my heart for music that promotes a Life of Love.

In comparing secular lyrics from the 1940's to the lyrics of today,  we see a stark contrast in the focus and function of music at work within a population.  Wisdom is at work in the following lyrics:

"For you and I, and everybody
Must learn to give and take
We'll find, like everybody
It's worth it for happiness sake"
                              - Ray Noble 

Where once lyrics served as a binding agent,  almost medicinal in inspiring man towards his betterment,  now popular music is extremely self-satisfying. Promoting the destruction of bonds and devaluing of man under the banner of self and offense.  Here we see Folly at work:

 "I just want to be happy!" One post flashed as I scrolled on through.


The melodramatic refrain sank deep in reverberation through my core.  On the bounce-back it found its way into this article. 

There are so many books on the subject of Happiness.  Philosophers make their name on it.  Cults lobotomize and chase the dragon,  World-views are formed in light of its priority,  but does anyone know what Happiness is?

At this point in my life,  I consider "Happiness"  in relation to work. Like the Endorphin rush felt at the end of a fantastic workout,  it is a result of labor.

One must be served to be made Happy   
Fulfillment however,  takes hold of something greater.

Moving Forward - From Faith to Faith

"I dislike how many would destroy you to rebuild you in their image.
    There -IS- a place for you. "

Is it by your understanding that the eagle soars    
and spreads his wings toward the south?
  
Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up
    and makes his nest on high?  Job 39:26-27

Why must we huddle to one another as if in perpetual darkness and ruin?

How many of us come Humbly and Boldly into His throne room of Grace?  

Do we have confirmation to render ourselves as Sons and Daughters and not merely servants?  If so, then hold onto it!

Where He sets His feet, there is perfect order.  When He sits there is perfect peace. Once enthroned in our hearts,  He uses our hands and heads to do a good work.

He fills us with direction, insight, and will to do, that by His Spirit we may be effective in Him.   ...for He is Faithful.


Oh let us not be ashamed, as we walk with all sincerity.  
Help us live by faith and not by sight, and most of all, 
Let us not shrink back from The Light once beholden. 

For the world is full of confusion, and prefers the numbing of its comforts to discernment and responsibility.  It would have us in eternal slumber, than wake to Do the Work.   

Enter By The Door

There is a greater and lesser light in the sky.  Plants stretch out their arms in direction and reach to drink from the light of the sun. The lesser light of the moon is of little concern.    Plants enter a sleep cycle, and don't bother building themselves in the direction of a weaker light.  So too do we take root within the truth of ourselves and bear fruits upwards according to His smile,  not the applause of the crowd around us.

We are not meant to be tossed about on the waves of Preference, but rather cling to the rock of Principal.  We build on the Truth and grow strong in His direction.  I have seen, all to often,  the crushing of people,  under the heel of worshipful tyranny,   and the reduction of Life to the most basic of needs.   I have seen the elevation of Tragedy to virtue and the twisting of Frailty into Faith.   

Let us not deceive ourselves 

The Father operates from the core of who we are. 
He doesn’t turn an apple into an orange, but tends to each of us that we produce good fruit.. 
He settles in our feet, wears our shoes, and each of our unique colors and gifts are to His glory.

Let us avoid insincerity to appease, but let us take hold of Truth
Don't let them ruin you,  but trust;  that He has a place for you. 

“In my Father's house are many mansions.  “

each one,  a Temple of The Living God.

But if you love the bush, you prune it.

It is in this Flaw, that by Faith

We are "flawed"
Every single one of us has a measure of it.
A dark spot on the lens of who we are.
Some work to cleans it,  some cover it up,
and some as in Sodom, revel in it.

Yet it is in this flaw that By Faith:
He may be glorified in our interactions, and the works of our lives.  By His mercy love and grace, we might love and show mercy and grace.  That by His forgiveness we may have ample treasure to forgive.

Two halves made whole together;
Each half made whole in Him.

Yesterday I spoke with an acquaintance on the effect of the morning news on the minds of man...

Addicted to the trauma of shock and awe that perpetuates and validates a will-driven, flesh-oriented mindset.

Contrast this to Breakfast with God in the mornings. When you make him the center of your being you can't go wrong. His perfect peace is a mountaintop view that sets all things in perspective.

Where you start your day is a strong indicator for where your day will end up.

How blessed we are in this generation to Eat His Words, 
To partake of the Bread that grows us up to Eternal life with Him.

His Word is a loaf that satisfies the mind and soul, served up fresh with love every morning.

There are moments when you encounter a thing of true beauty.
Life stands still as it impresses on the mind.

I remember the day I encountered the physicality of Vincent Van Gogh's self portrait at the Museum of Groningen, in the Netherlands.  Out of the corner of my eye, from against a wall of verdant green, his gaze pierced through time and caught me as if by chance...

I stood mesmerized by the intensity of the light rippling across the painted surface.
The depths of such love carved its likeness in me.

may we remember such moments forever.

This evening will mark the Holiday of Yom Kippur;  the Holiest day of the year for the peoples of God.  I for one feel very blessed to be aware and on time to take part in this "Sabbath of Sabbaths".


 

Though I am not Jewish by birth,  I am purchased with a Price into the family of God. I personally delight in honoring his Holy Days, and I love to grow in understanding of the time pieces he set in place for us to worship and grow closer to Him in Spirit and in Truth.

Our trials in life chisel and shape us to fit into position; We are fired through from soft lumps of coal into diamonds in the rough. The pressure we endure changes us,  that we may ring from the core of our being,  reflecting and refracting the Truth in Love, His Light,  in all directions.

Every stone chosen serves a function,  as each facet supports and exerts pressure, from individual pieces to one unified whole.  The Egyptians chose from only Perfectly Split Granite stones to bear the burden of form and function in Pyramid construction.

But it is so much easier to despise the workman, and mourn our faceted parts.   To take offense and prefer His Staff over the Rod of correction.  When we forget that it is by both that He calls us His own.    I once heard Pastor Charles Stanley say of The Father, concerning a rough part in his life:  "Whenever you receive criticism,  consider it coming from Me "

I believe this is what it means to walk with Grace

These stones had to support and absorb the enormous weight of the pyramid that pressed down and side-wards, so they had a special shape and were very massive. The angle of the very corner was very difficult to achieve and asked for high precision in workmanship. Incisions & Decisions Must be Made

I glanced at my starched-white cuffs at a recent interview and reflected;  "Everyone hates the leader, they receive all the praise when things go right,  and all of the fire when things go wrong.   Yet you know this is the role, and you make the best decisions possible, what is important are your reasons behind the decision. " 

The Debates:
Substance vs Surface

I watch from the perspective of one seeking evidence of Competency rather than Personality.   After all "Charm" is a thing for snakes and performers.

Ours is a culture of over sensitivity and political correctness;  and this,  I believe only breeds a weaker generation successively.  If we cannot name a thing for what it is,  if we condemn the gift of discernment in judging for ourselves what is Good or Bad, in knowing a thing to be either a Hand or a Foot, then America  has fallen far from that Transparent & Earnest culture it once shone forth in aspiration to be.   

(s)He who occupies the seat as Commander-in-Chief is chosen to serve a function:  making the hard decisions for the betterment of the country and not for personal gain.   One must have foresight and make decisions as if in hindsight 20/20.   They must have vision... as a gem-cutter must calculate and  shape and polish a gem to refract to the trajectory of light,   so the country must be shaped to bear witness to and act on the Truth.   

I wonder with what Kingdom and Age in history could America be likened unto today?   If strategic moves are as chess my question is:  is it better  to make an Offensive or Defensive move this round?

Some like to say "We're not called to judge".    Yet there is distinction between members. 
And each are called according to a purpose, that the whole may give glory to God.

One Body with Many Members I Cor 12:12

The relationships between structure, form and function is exclusive,
This too is Love; in progression 

Morning has Broken

Spending time alone with The Lord in the morning is the most invigorating, enlivening,  restful and restless undertaking that man could ever hope to enter.     He blesses us with His Holy Presence,  and the window of the Temple opens,   breathing a sweet breeze of clarity,   truth and love into our very hearts and minds.  

He enlivens our core,   and raises us up from the inertia of the World,  bringing us in rather,  to closer orbit of His Word.

"Fresh from the WORD "

I John 2:5  Whoever keeps His Word,  in him truly the Love of God is perfected.  By this we may know that we are in him:  whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

Truth echoes from the beginning of time, reverberates through the fabric of reality,  that we may catch glimpses of His steadfast love  every single morning. 

When Everything Comes Together

"For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

How much more the clockwork of our reality? 
...and of ourselves? Of whose spirit do we play a part?

It was a hot summers' day.  I found myself stranded with Bowie on an unfamiliar road in the countryside. We geared up for the long walk and turned to head in the right direction; though I knew I'd be in for a test as Bowie would continually pull at the lead.  Hours passed by and the sun grew hotter: baking all a hazy radiant of yellow heat. 

I grew parched, tired and exhausted and the charm of it began to wear off as we passed another corn field.  I noticed how irate and grumpy I was growing,  and I didn't want to feel that way.   So I started praying to actively start shift my focus toward God when I glanced up and noticed the soft round dollops of red and yellow cherries hanging overhead just within reach.

The moment hit me like an oasis in a desert,  No sooner had I started to thank him,  did I have even more to thank the Lord for.   These golden cherries, and their sweet offerings at that moment of time, of needs met, of salvation was not small,  but very profound... 

and there was nothing to get in the way of my joy in life with the Lord.  
That cherry tree had such a lasting impression on me,   Bowie loved the pitted cherries too. 
Suddenly the walk was different, In a Spirit of Comfort,  I reflected in thankfulness  for that precious time in His Presence in the shade of a green and golden countryside.

I forget sometimes:  That which is performed in time is provided for by He who commands it. And if we have faith in Him as the Prime mover,  He will move through us in big ways.

Thankful for all the fruitful trees, bearing fruits of wisdom and wellsprings of love in our lives.

Those Noble Gases

They are not easily consumed in the process.

So named for their inertness. They are whole (holy),  and balanced in and of themselves.
Noble Gases are so noted for their nonreactive natures under normal conditions. 

Unperturbed by the insecurities of the world Noble Gases are provocative and peaceful at the same time.

Yet when a current (spirit) arcs, they emit a vibrant light and maintain their integrity. 



Refined Silver and Gold. 
As Noble Gases are a Fact, 
so too is Nobility of Character and Spirit.

The Eyes Have It

Which "i am" wins?
Ideallic T.V. saccharine sweetness,
or Anarchy's bitter bite?  
A henpecked lure to sleep and dream
Prometheus determined light?

Weigh the value of the "i ams" round
by the meausre of that which sustains
maintains through trial by fire
of Godliness and Righteous- fruits
of the lips and of the heart. 

Long range vision holds to gold, 
ever reaching,  satisfied
with remainder of His Love and Light.

To perform according to the whims of the masses,
is to sacrifice potential for momentary acceptance.
To perform according to the pleasure of His Gaze
is to be refined in the fire over time.   
Growth in Direction as we pass from one veil to the next.

Warning, you will be viewed as provocative;  
Just as a sleepy gaze must adjust itself to allow for more light. 
Keep on shining. 
That by your deeds they will know.

As light passes through the eye the image is reversed
We in shades of earthen clay can conceive of perfection
yet are deprived in the flesh. Our spirits remember and Understand
Then Choose to walk in The Way.  
The Trick is to not be conformed to this World but rather Transformed.

Two sides of the dialectic | dielectric are necessary to complete a circuit. 
As with the Theramin,   A Camera and the Eye,  the Membrane or Mixing board
(our selves vessels reality ) actually switches the order of the frequencies.
Higher becomes Lower & Lower becomes Higher. 

We're simply stuck on this side of the equation for now,  but we factor in our hearts,
and how He helps us to manage in the  mean time so that we can function
according to the laws of the Spirit rather than the Flesh .

The Law of Inertia in the Theater of Life

There are two Main Roads to the Pursuit
of an Understanding and Knowledge of God

A: By studying that which is Revealed - Kataphatic
B: By uncovering that which is Hidden - Apophatic

The World is a stage of Physics and Metaphysics. In viewing a Truth of the relationships between things,  we can attempt to map our aspirations,  goals and tribulations to the same relationship patterns. 

It may not always be right
but we can exercise wisdom to make the best decisions based
on a point of understanding,  rather than impulse  or feeling.



If you can understand even the tiniest of things, 
you may have a Lens of Perspective by which
you may gain greater understanding of your situation.
Wisdom and Knowledge are as Real Estate
Acting on that Wisdom makes you wealthy and blessed.

Pride : Faith and Doubt

 

Faith is of the substance unobserved, and expected. ie: our level of trust exhibited in sleeping from Dusk to the next Dawn.

Analysis Paralysis :  Doubt is the shadow of the grave. It "helps" by means of resistance to absorb energy in motion to bring an object to a crawl.  in the dark of doubt everything falls under question, and very little gets done.  

Things like to keep on doing, what they're already doing. if it is at rest, it wants to stay at rest. If it is moving it wants to keep on moving.

They who are asleep don't wish to be awakened
They who are awake  don't wish to go to sleep.

There is a lot of Wisdom in the World
The Wise seek Knowledge to add to their Understanding.

For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written,
“He catches the wise in their craftiness,”

Psalm 40-  Praising Him 

Sometimes the hardest thing for us to do is to actively turn our attention from the ground,  and lift our heads to the Son - to praise him for all He does for us. 

It takes a willingness and a conscious effort to lift our heads from our circumstances.  This recurring theme throughout the Bible presents the crux of the situation: How to live Life and give acknowledgement to: He who is faithful to craft every sunrise, He who gifts us every day.

This is the Walk of the Spirit Man

Because it is Difficult for us to offer praises in our natural fleshy mind states,
this is precisely why we need to exercise that muscle of Faith 
Let's keep an Eye on the Son and lift our heads to regard His beautiful Horizon.

It is far too easy for us to focus on the dark of our circumstances,  the miry clay of our woes and troubles,  the grit of our obligations
and take pride in our yolks of burden..


Yet to lift head to regard the Son, to keep the Sun at Left and Right hand is to orient ones self and move in Direction. That's where the Praises to God come in,  and this is precisely what pisses people off.   (^___^)

To migrate with the herd is to live a life according to the Spirit.  You do what's obviously Right and Just.   Rejecting what is Evil. 
Chewing the Cud over that which is Good 
7x7 and Producing Praises to God. 

This is the Sacrifice that He Desires
By our sacrifices of Praise we allow Him to reign over our circumstances, and He acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.

Perspective of His Spirit : Staying Sweet 
In Life we experience suffering that would cause us to grow bitter. I've experienced my share, and I have to tend my heart's garden regularly.    Bitterness rears its head from time to time,  but  His Holy Spirit is gentle to point it out, which allows me to work it out,  and get back tor growing,  and abiding in Him.

The Father reveals who He is to encourage us to lift our heads from the bitter soil of our circumstances,  to face the Sun, (come to His Son) and grow in thanksgiving,  encouraged and empowered to live a life of Love unfolding.

AbbA would have us turn from World and its Vices,  or fleeting "comforts" to come to know His Presence which is truly satisfying and of everlasting comfort.  Because Man can conceive of Eternity,  he can only find comfort in He who is Eternal.

Father wishes us to lean on His Spirit,  so that by His Spirit we may find ourselves equipped and able to perform the works of the Spirit,  bearing fruits of the Spirit. no matter the condition of the soil we are in.

It is By his Grace and Mercy,  and by our willingness to receive it, that we find ourselves humble enough to see the sunshine , and silver linings through any situation.   He allows us to remain Sweet throughout all circumstances.  Walking with Grace and by our unshakable rest in him,   we display a quiet strength and show ourselves approved.

Because He comforts us with a peace that surpasses all understanding we are  able to comfort others in their affliction, with the same Comfort that he has shown to us.   A comfort, not of the world.   but with a comfort that understands, and with precision  applies the healing salve of his salvation
