In comparing secular lyrics from the 1940's to the lyrics of today, we see a stark contrast in the focus and function of music at work within a population. Wisdom is at work in the following lyrics:
"For you and I, and everybody
Must learn to give and take
We'll find, like everybody
It's worth it for happiness sake"
                              - Ray Noble
Where once lyrics served as a binding agent, almost medicinal in inspiring man towards his betterment, now popular music is extremely self-satisfying. Promoting the destruction of bonds and devaluing of man under the banner of self and offense. Here we see Folly at work:
"Who the f-k do you think I am?( ... which lyrics would you wish to be remembered by?)
You ain't married to no average b---h boy.
You can watch my fat a-- twist boy.
As I bounce to the next d--k boy
- Beyonce
Is there a place for Wisdom?
Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones makes it plain “ The trouble with Man throughout all the ages, is that he cannot discern the difference between Knowledge and Wisdom. “
Man builds his Pride digging for knowledge and consoles himself with affection won from his peers, but in the end, when he reaches the gates of the grave he must look back on his life in Time.

all who hate me love death.
If a man has forsaken the Eternal for the temporal,  and lobotomized himself of Conscience and
Consequence for gain in this life,  once he meets the Creator and Judge, from whom his life breath was
given, he’ll watch his life,  and the work
of his hands turn to ash.   Wisdom draws us to face that inevitable truth of God and Eternity; that we may
judge our ways by it.

Wisdom has a perspective which magnifies God, and minimizes man. Stretching the timeline as far out as he can see, along with all foreseeable consequences for the maximum good. That he may order his steps by Principal instead of Preference.
In fig. a) The path of light escapes by continuing in a Right(eous) direction.
In the same manner, when we exercise our Faith and walk with God in mind, holding fast to His Holy Spirit, we're granted Wisdom to grow in a continuous direction, that we may embody Godliness and Righteousness not of ourselves, but by our practice, being rewarded of it in this world, and the next.
Wisdom leads a man to consider the consequences. It leads a man to look at himself, and his shortcomings and begin to work on relationships with loved ones. Wisdom reveals that which is of True Value. By Wisdom a man knows the depth of the tragedy in the world, the folly of drink, and the smothering thief that is a world of comfort and lies.
Wisdom testifies of the Triumph of Eternity in a world dominated by Time.   Wisdom speaks of Light and Life and Truth,  because Wisdom dwells with God.

By His Spirit we may gain Wisdom, and practice discernment, to judge rightly the worth and value of moments lived and choices made, that we may not act in the name of short term momentary pleasure or applause and be trapped in this world of the dead and the dying, but maintain our course in the way “Everlasting”
Forever and ever,
Amen.
