Seek First the Kingdom of Heaven,

Perspective shifts, are extremely difficult to illustrate.
"...But when i became a man i put away childish things"

I have had a very strong shift in perspective,
which I desire and aim to maintain-
The Third Heaven.    (2 Corinthians 12:2 )

For there is where my treasure and my spirit lies. 
invested in Eternal Life with God the Father of Glory, 
not as much "in Time" which leads to Angst and Worry


   Time             (May all my actions in time )
  Eternity         (Be in step with His Spirit)

Martin Luther  -  Perspective Shift
Struck by Lightning 1505. A lightening bolt struck near to Martin Luther as he was returning to school. Terrified, he cried out, "Help, St. Anne! I'll become a monk!" Spared of his life, but regretting his words, Luther kept his bargain, dropped out of law school and entered the monastery there."

Martin Luther  applied his law-trained mind, to the Scriptures in the Church.    And his keen awareness of the Presence of The Father of Glory was of such prominence,  that his whole life was as a brush stroke of insight and Holy Spirit-filled Power.   The product of his perspective shift,  brought the medicine of the Gospel to a people free,  and freed many people from the bottleneck of the Catholic Religious System.



Perhaps such a perspective shift,  is as a glimpse of Objective Perspective.  We generally experience life Subjectively, and most of humanity holds to that desire ..to declare the subjective as objective.  

The Scriptures Rx were written from a Top Down, Perspective -  by His Spirit of Holiness, which frustrates a fleshly mind to think to a different degree.  The Scriptures prescribe a viewing angle of the world our human options within this time we have on earth.. and how our actions manifest towards Life and Light or Death and Decay within our bodies, and within our souls.  

People are so concerned wit what is right before their eyes,  that they are almost so afraid to actually think.   When one does think about these things and view themselves under the light of scrutiny, the tendency is to question whether one was previously thinking at all.  

I love how Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones spoke in one of his sermons...  "If you love to Think,  be a Christian"  I'll summarize -  There is no higher thought than to plan and posit your motions in line with the actions of an Holy^3  God. 

Father is also "The Most High"... He has the most objective perspective of all.

Living in this strata of The Creation,  on Earth,  as we go about our daily tasks and hug our routines, or break them, on the X axis of Time and Place,  I seek to constantly return my awareness back to the Y axis -  the realm of the Heavenlies,  where exists the Father and the Son seated side by side  observing the goings on of our Flatland world.

...and I for one feel privileged... blessed and loved,  in knowing that all things are always going according to plan. so long as i do my best and acknowledge him in all my ways, He will direct my path.  (Proverbs 3:6 )All things work together for the Good of those who Love The Father of Glory.

Sitting out in the backyard, where once there was a high-walled fence, I marveled at the beautiful vision,  of low laying shrubs against tiny brick homes,  various trees tiered against a dusky sky.  milk white window panes, to other worlds...  a kind of Matrix cookie cutter simplicity.  I listen to the  gentle sound of tires rolling softly on the asphalt river of my street.  

I remember places i've been and how anxious i was for a new thrill,  but now,    i see how beautiful the whole of creation is...  How he laid the foundation for gravity,  and made the breeze feel good against the skin, how the color and pattern of soft grass beneath the feet is a pleasure and a comfort to the eye and to the touch,  and how the day gives way to night in a way that lulls one to sleep...  

Each day,  book-ended by  Rosy dawns and Golden sunsets,  and in this Macrocosm of beauty,  our petri dish of life,   we human beings can think of the High places in the Heavens ,  and wonder what we must appear like to the Father and Son who weigh the heart.. 

A perfect time to offer prayer, thanks and dwell in fellowship with God... 

Such was the original Harmony of the Universe,  and so it will be again.  

New Heaven,  New Earth.
